DELICIOUS! 

I bought these guajillo chiles and also ancho chiles (from the same company) to make adobo sauce for a vegan pozole rojo and it was one of the best soups I’ve ever eaten!

WOW Incredible Flavors

I toasted them and then ground them into a powder and rubbed a beef roast with them and other spices. We shredded it and made some nice tacos with homemade tortillas. The braising liquid had incredible flavor and we used it as a sauce for the pulled beef.

Best Ancho Chilies Ever

Cold rainy weekend here so started making some chili. Got these chilies out to clean and deseed them, I was so surprised by the lovely aroma and deep color of each chili. These are fabulous! Each chili was soft, raisiny, spicy and faintly sweet...absolutely delicious. Best chili ever!
